Microsoft Office For iPad Now Includes Printing And Other New Tools

Microsoft Office for iPad has received its first significant update since launching on the App Store last month. Version 1.01 of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint for iPad now include the ability the print a document to an AirPrint device, plus other new features. With Microsoft Word for iPad, you can now choose to print a document with or without markup. In Microsoft Excel, you may print a selected range, a single worksheet, or an entire spreadsheet. In Microsoft Excel, you can also use AutoFit to adjust the width or height of multiple rows at the same time. Finally, in Microsoft PowerPoint, you can select the pages or slides you want to print. The presentation app also includes a new SmartGuides feature that helps you align pictures, shapes, and text boxes as you move them around on a slide. The three apps have also received bug fixes with the updates. The iPad editions of Microsoft WordMicrosoft ExcelMicrosoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft OneNote are all available in the App Store for free. But to take full advantage of the apps, an Office 365 subscription, which costs as low as $99.99 per year, is required.
