Adidas just announced their own activity tracking band, the FIT SMART — or is it FITSMART? Because even the Adidas PR department can’t make up their minds in the press release.
Now, it seems everyone and their mother is jumping on the fitness tracking train. With the “iWatch” rumored to be released soon, as Apple recently hired ex-Nike FuelBand engineers, and all of the other devices already on the market, this is getting even more interesting. Although, this FIT SMART band doesn’t seem overly impressive, it may be just the thing some people want.
The FIT SMART is an addition to Adidas’ miCoach system and syncs with the current iOS apps. It’s designed for most activities: mainly running, training, and fitness.
From the press release:
Marrying clean and simple design lines with an intuitive user experience, FIT SMART is engineered in Germany to become an essential piece of any fitness enthusiast’s training gear.
