With VacayCam, DogVacay users can take photos of their dogs on vacation

August 14, 2014

DogVacay has just been treated to another major update. The official iOS app of the home dog boarding company of the same name now includes a new camera feature, making it easy for you to snap great photos of your dog.

With VacayCam, you can take a photo of your dog while they are on their vacation. At the same time, a sound such as a bark, meow, or squeaky toy will be emitted, grabbing your dog’s attention and ensuring top quality photos every time.

VacayCam also allows users to personalize their pictures with a large selection of stickers, frames, and text. These photos can be uploaded to Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Other DogVacay 2.6 features include:

  • Vet Finder helps users easily locate the closest veterinarians and animal hospitals.
  • Symptom Checker offers helpful tips for pups on Vacay (or any time!)
  • Tips and Tricks bring you cute, funny, and educational blog posts.

The DogVacay service features trusted and insured dog lovers ready to watch your dog like a member of their family. Rates start at $25/night and all reservations include free pet insurance, 24/7 customer support, and daily photo updates. For more information on the U.S.-based service, click here.

The new version of DogVacay is available now in the App Store for free.
