You’re able to enter a word in English or Spanish, and it will instantly provide you with a translation, pronunciation, definitions, and example phrases. Words can be marked as favorites for quick access later on, and all of your data can be synced with Dropbox. The app includes a ridiculous amount of content with over 718,000 entries, 524,000 translations, 558,000 synonyms, 98,000 definitions, and 40,000 examples, all of which is stored offline.

iCrosss makes learning fun with its interactive 3-D models. You’re able to rotate polyhedra simply by sliding your finger across the screen. Tap the polyhedra to set three points and build cross sections. You can also cycle through views by tapping the icon at the bottom of the screen, and enable or disable the chalk-style drawings. The app includes regular polyhedra, pyramids, prisms, anti-prisms, and archimedean solids and duals.

Lists To-Do is all about categorizing to keep things simple. When creating a new list, you’re able to name it and choose from one of the more than 100 category icons. The icons are big and bold, which makes it easy to find exactly what you’re looking for. Tasks and items that are added to your lists can be shared, moved, sorted, and copied to your clipboard. You can also attach reminders to them. Lists themselves can be duplicated, reordered, shared, printed, and synced.

The great thing about Bills Check is that you don’t need to create separate accounts and a whole bunch of bills for each one. Instead, it allows you to create a single bill with all of your information in one place. Bills can be repeated, so you don’t have to recreate them over and over, and they can include repeating notifications. The dashboard view displays all of your paid and unpaid bills, bank accounts, and how much money you have left over.

What we really like about Email for Business is that you only need to enter your details once. All you have to do is spend some time creating your profile, or as many profiles as you like, and then the data will automatically be populated within whatever letterhead or notecard you choose. Each of the 20 unique letterhead and notecard designs also feature customizable fields. The app includes the option to print your letterheads and notecards instead of emailing them.

- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
