Today’s apps gone free: Web To PDF, Colourfill, iAchievement and more
iPhone:
We just love the way This Is Not A Test mixes together genres. The story progresses based on the decisions you make. But it’s not just about making decisions within the story, as you’ll also be tasked with deciding on the right skills for the job. You must also stash gear that you deem important for later on, and try to convince other characters to join your adventure. Above all, you must try to survive the end of the world by any means possible.
This Is Not a Test: A Survival RPG Comic is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 37 ratings.
Sometimes the simplest apps can be the best. Magnifier Flash proves that point. It allows you to zoom in on your subject at up to 6x magnification, and you can light it up with your iDevice’s LED flash. You can even snap a photo of what you’re looking at while zoomed in to save it for later.
Magnifier Flash – A magnifier glass with light is available for free today only (09/24). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 95 ratings.
Why should achieving your goals be boring and lame? iAchievement turns it into a game! When creating a new goal you’re able to title it, attach notes, categorize it, and define your units. Goals can really be anything, from the amount of times you perform an action to how many pages you flip. It’s all up to you. Every time you complete one of your goals, just tally it on the main screen and iAchievement will track your progress.
iAchievement – Gamify Your Life is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 45 ratings.
If Lenka had a motto it would be: “Do one thing and do it well.” Before shooting, you can switch between regular and square formats with a pinch. Then capture your subject in regular black and white or in high contrast. That’s it! There aren’t any other options, but the results are outstanding. You’ll just have to see for yourself.
Lenka is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 5 ratings.
Universal:
We’re really enjoying Colourfill because it’s one of those games that’s simple on the surface yet difficult to master. The goal is to fill in 80 percent of the game board with vibrant colors. Just swipe across the screen to start your line and it will fill in the smallest portion once it reaches both sides. However, your line can not be hit by an enemy before it reaches both sides. You can try to eliminate enemies by filling in the side they are on, but the color of the fill must match the color of the enemy. Otherwise you’ll lose a life. The game is filled with 40 puzzles, five enemy types, and five power-ups to unleash.
Colourfill is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3-star rating with a total of 5 ratings.
Web To PDF couldn’t be easier to use. Just point the built-in browser at any page and tap the add PDF button in the bottom right corner of the screen. Web To PDF will need a brief moment to convert the page and automatically place it into the files folder. You can then make changes to the PDF by adding text notes, highlighting text, or drawing over the top of it. PDFs can be shared via email, Dropbox, or iTunes File Sharing.
WEB To PDF is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 766 ratings.
