The next iPad Air could be as thin as the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus if the latest leak is to be believed. The photos from Vietnamese blog Tinhte.vn suggest that Apple’s next tablet could be a thin as 7 mm. This compares very nicely to the iPhone 6 (6.9 mm) and iPhone 6 Plus (7.1 mm). The current iPad Air is 7.5 mm.

These photos also show that the “iPad Air 2” will feature Touch ID. Gone is the mute switch, which also serves as a rotation lock.
