Amazon's Visa Rewards Card members can now use Apple Pay

October 24, 2014

Amazon’s Visa Rewards card is now compatible with Apple Pay. This news comes just three days after the online retail giant announced plans to begin accepting Apple’s new mobile payment system for in-app purchases.

When Apple Pay debuted earlier this week, Amazon’s Rewards Visa card was the only one from Chase Bank not compatible with Apple Pay. That is no longer the case. Card holders can now scan or enter the card and add it to their digital wallet.

The Visa Rewards card awards 3 percent back on all Amazon.com purchases.

All of Apple Pay works on the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Watch. You can make in-app purchases with Apple Pay with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPad Air 2, and iPad mini 3.
