Apple says iOS 8 has been installed on 48 percent of devices

After speculation of having a slower than usual adoption rate as compared to other major iOS releases, Apple has come clean and revealed how many times iOS 8 has been installed since its release on Sept. 17. As of today, iOS 8 has been installed on 48 percent of iOS devices.
As always, we can expect the iOS 8 install base to slowly climb over the coming months, and we’ll keep you updated as time goes on.
