Today’s apps gone free: Clone Camera, Gon, The Magician’s Handbook II and more
iPhone:
Gon is one of those games that’s easy to just pick up and play but nearly impossible to master. The idea is simple enough: You must draw lines on the screen for the Gons to bounce off of and avoid falling out of the screen. The problem is that all kinds of objects from different periods of time will get in your way, so you have to time your drawings properly and be ready for anything. You’re able to utilize a variety of characters and power-ups to make it further through time.
Gon is available for free for a limited time. It has a 5-star rating with a total of 37 ratings.
You don’t need to be a network administrator to understand how to use Who Uses My Wi-Fi. All you need to do is select your connection point and it will show how many devices are connected to it. Tap on a listing to view detailed information including its IP address, MAC address, vendor, and discovery date. The app also includes the ability create custom secure passwords.
Who Uses My WiFi? (WUMW) Protect your network from intruders is available for free today only (10/08). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 148 ratings.
iMusic certainly looks great thanks to its stylish blurred backgrounds that match your album art, but what really makes it special are its gesture controls. You’re able to control the music playback with common swipe and tap gestures, or you can utilize the air gesture control system and never touch the screen. Air gestures allow you to shake your iDevice left and right to change songs and flip it over to pause. The app also includes song information, access to lyrics, and the ability to share what you’re listening to.
iMusic – The Perfect Music Player is available for free today only (10/08). It has a 3.5-star rating with a total of 112 ratings.
Most cloning apps are cumbersome and yield poor results, but not Clone Camera Pro. All you have to do is take at least two quality photos, but you’re allowed to use up to six at once. Then just outline the subject in each of the photos, and Clone Camera Pro will grab the outlines and put them together into a single image. Filters can be applied to your final creation before being shared via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or email.
Clone Camera Pro is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 151 ratings.
Universal:
Fun Toy is pure eye candy, making it a great wallpaper creator. Just put your fingers to the screen and watch as the lights begin to shine. If you tilt your iDevice around, you can get different perspectives on the light show you’ve created. The app includes 10 interaction modes, AirPlay support, and the ability to snap pictures of your creations.

We really like The Magician’s Handbook II because it’s suitable for all players. The game includes two difficulty settings, allowing you to either race against the clock or play at your own pace. You can also enjoy the full story or play the slimmed down version if all you want to do is find those hidden objects. The game includes 16 locations, 21 mini-games, and 11 chapters.
