Fleksy 5.0 introduces customizable Extensions, a redesign and more keyboard themes

December 17, 2014

Fleksy, the third-party keyboard available for Android and iOS, has released its latest update. Fleksy 5.0 introduces Extensions, customizable functionality enhancements for the keyboard. In turn, the app now turns into a platform with “multiple fun and useful input options.”

At launch, Fleksy’s Extensions include the following: GIF Keyboard, Numbers Row, One-handed Mode, Cursor Control, and Rainbow Pops.

The GIFs Extension allows you to discover and send GIFs as easily as emoji. Browse curated categories, or search for your own.

One-Handed Typing makes Fleksy easy to reach, even on the iPhone 6 Plus. Cursor Control allows you to press and drag on the spacebar to control your cursor.

The Number Row, you guessed it, adds a number row to your keyboard. Finally, with the Rainbow Key Pops Extension activated, every key you tap will be surrounded with a new vibrant color.

Extensions may be activated and deactivated at will. However, only three can be activated at the same time. Additional “slots” are available for purchase in the Fleksy Store.

Fleksy 5.0 also includes a redesign to accommodate the new customization options, plus a number of new themes, including ones based on “The Hunger Games” and “Frozen.”
