Change adds a bit of a style to a normally dull app category. You’re able to choose the currencies you’re converting from and to by swiping across the fields at the top of the screen. As you swipe, you’ll see the conversions instantly performed. You’re also able to reorder, activate, and deactivate currencies by tapping on the “+” button at the bottom of the screen. Change includes a total of 85 currencies.

You and your child will then be able to enjoy read-along stories, puzzles, match-three games, dress-up scenes, drag and drop games, and other delightful activities.

Viking’s Journey : The Road to Valhalla ($2.99 → Free, 71.7 MB): Help Ragnar reach Valhalla in this puzzle-RPG. It’s a fun distraction for those who enjoyed Red Winter Software’s previous title, Dungelot.

Viking’s Journey has a little bit of everything in terms of gameplay and design. You must help Ragnar reach his heaven by fighting through different environments littered with crazy enemies. Every time you approach an enemy or object you’re provided with a limited amount of action points. The action points allow you to slide runes around the screen. When your action points have depleted, the strongest runes will be used against their targets. The mechanic of combining runes is similar to the way you combine tiles in Threes. You’re able to upgrade all of your character’s abilities with the coins you earn as well.

Viking’s Journey : The Road to Valhalla is available for free for a limited time. It has a 3-star rating with a total of 25 ratings.

Pixel and Parker ($2.99 → Free, 40.1 MB): An action packed adventure starring Pixel and Park. It’s ideal for parents and teachers who want to build their children’s interest in books.

Part book and part board game, Pixel and Parker will never tell the same tale twice. As your child works their way through this fun story about friendship, they will have the opportunity to spin the wheel and take their adventure along a new path. The app includes 30 interactive surprises, and 30 t-shirts that can be unlocked to change Parker’s look.

Pixel and Parker is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 160 ratings.

Wa Kingyo – Goldfish Pond ($0.99 → Free, 52.0 MB): Relax next to your very own goldfish pond with this entertainment app. It’s ideal for those who simply need a little time to themselves.

You’re able to populate your pond with up to four goldfish. You can adjust the size of your little swimming friends and choose from 10 different color combinations. You’re also able to interact with them by tapping on the surface of the water and scattering different types of bait. Shake your iDevice to cause waves and remove any debris from the surface of the water. The app also includes a sleep timer, and 11 background patterns to choose from.

Wa Kingyo – Goldfish Pond is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 111 ratings.
