It’s official. Apple will hold their next media event on Monday, March 9 from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco, California. The announcement was made via invites now being sent out to media outlets.
With the message “Spring Forward,” the invitation features colors and designs definitely appropriate for the season, which officially begins in the northern hemisphere on Friday, March 20.
Apple’s event on March 9 is likely to focus on the Apple Watch. We could also see new Mac products announced.
Originally unveiled back in September along with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, and Apple Pay, the Apple Watch will start at $349 for the low-end Sport model. Apple will also offer the wearable in two other editions, the Apple Watch model and very high-end Apple Watch Edition featuring an 18-karat gold case.
This is the first springtime Apple media event since March 2, 2011. At that time, the company unveiled the iPad 2.
