Nimble Birds centers around the struggle between humans and nature. The jungle is being destroyed in order to make room for a new village, so the birds have set out on an adventure to find a new home. You must guide them safely out of the jungle by flapping their wings to maneuver around obstacles.
As you might expect, your bird travels ahead on its own, but you must perform the flapping of its wings with a tap. Vicious obstacles of all shapes and sizes stand in your way, even those that seemingly appear out of nowhere, so be prepared for anything. You absolutely can not allow your bird to touch the surface or the top of the jungle, either.
To succeed, you must basically avoid anything and everything except for the blue orbs and the coins scattered about. The orbs are the only way to earn points, and the coins will allow you to unlock new birds. Be prepared to start over and over again, as some of the level designs are brutally difficult and you have more than 40 to play through in classic mode.
Now, about that iPod touch giveaway. Nimble Games have dropped the price of Nimble Birds from $1.99 to free just for this special occasion. This way everyone can give the game a try and have a chance to enter to win. The amount, i.e., how high you score, isn’t important as the winning person is chosen at random from all valid entries.
