Have you ever wanted to send someone a handwritten note through a text message? Or maybe a cute little drawing? With Doodle Keyboard for iOS 8, you can do just that. Available now on the App Store, it lets you doodle directly from your iOS keyboard and send those drawings as messages to your friends.

This app is a custom doodle keyboard, and it works with many apps like Messages, Mail, and others. It features full color selection as well as brush size selection, so you can change how large or small your brush strokes are. This simple keyboard app also has undo and redo support, along with an eraser for deleting segments.

You can jot notes, draw pictures, make diagrams or just doodle randomly with the keyboard extension, and then send your doodles to anybody you choose through text messages, emails, or other supported apps. It is a nice touch to be able to send a handwritten note in a text message, or draw a cute picture to send to your children or loved ones.

Ever since Apple announced and released keyboard extension support in iOS 8, a number of other keyboard apps have emerged. Some are free, but Doodle Keyboard for iOS costs $0.99 on the App Store.
