Pixelmator 1.1 for iPad adds watercolor painting, a new Color Picker and more
One of the more popular apps for iPad has received an update. Pixelmator 1.1 features a number of new features including new watercolor painting technology, a new Color Picker, and more.
First introduced in October 2014, Pixelmator is based on the powerful image editor for Mac. The $9.99 app allows you to create, edit, and enhance your images on your tablet. Pixelmator works seamlessly between the iPad and Mac, thanks to Apple’s iCloud and Handoff. The app is also able to work with Adobe Photoshop files.
Pixelmator’s new watercolor painting feature may be used to create new pieces of art, or add some style to existing images and photos. Included are 12 new watercolor brushes, each artist-designed.
The new Color Picker feature adds the ability to select your previously used colors, while the new Color Grid makes selecting a color easier.
