Today’s apps gone free: Convertizo, Geekbench 3, Feed-’Em Fred and more
Universal:
Want to see how your iDevice stacks up against the rest? Perform a Geekbench test and find out. It provides a comprehensive set of benchmarks that accurately measure your iDevice’s processor and memory performance. The test only takes about 30 seconds to perform. You will then be provided with loads of detailed information including how your iDevice compares to other Apple products. You’re also able to upload your results to Geekbench’s website or send them via email.
Geekbench 3 is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 116 ratings.
Who says conversion apps need to be ugly and dull? Convertizo breaks the mold by offering an icon-based interface that’s not only easy on the eyes but also easy to use. All of its conversion categories are laid out on a single screen. Just tap on the one you want, choose your two units, and enter a value. Units can be flipped with a tap, and you’re able to jump to the next category via a button in the lower right corner of the screen. The app also includes eight themes to choose from, and live currency updates.
Convertizo 2 – Convert Units and Currency in Style – Imperial & Metric – Angle Area Currency Data Energy Flow Length Power Pressure Speed Temperature Time Volume & Weight is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 103 ratings.
We’re fond of Sports Betting because you get to start off with $4.99 worth of virtual currency to get your betting started. That’s right, you don’t even have to spend a single penny to show the world you know your sports teams. You’re able to make multiple bets for each game. Once you have put your money where your mouth is, just sit back and wait for the results. Betting history, and daily and weekly coin bonuses are also available.
Sports Betting™ is available for free today only (03/17). It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 479 ratings.
Data Usage Pro has it all. Start off by entering your data plan limit and billing period. Then just let Data Usage Pro start monitoring your usage. It will provide you with a predictive forecast telling you how close you are to going over and set daily quotas based on that information. Theme colors will change to reflect your current usage status, and you can get a quick glance at how much data you’ve used via the icon badge or the Notification Center widget. The app also includes the ability to create custom counters, and usage history charts.
Data Usage Pro is available for free today only (03/17). It has a 4-star rating with a total of 442 ratings.
iPad:
This wacky interactive storybook tells the tale of a boy who just won’t eat his fruits and vegetables. At least not until he meets a chef with a rather horrible recipe book. The rhyming story hums along with professional narration, or your child can read all on their own. All 28 pages are loaded with interactive items to discover and animations to activate.
Feed-’Em Fred (The Chef of Dread) interactive storybook (for iPad) is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 12 ratings.
