Apple is offering developers expedited Apple Watch deliveries through a lottery system

Apple is sending out emails to random registered developers, giving them an opportunity to buy an Apple Watch that will be delivered by the end of April. The developers get the opportunity to buy an 42mm Apple Watch Sport with guaranteed shipment by April 28.
The process is by application only and developers will find out whether they are eligible to actually go through with the purchase on Thursday, April 23.
The first Apple Watch shipments are set to arrive on Friday, April 24.
