Apple Watch preordering finally begins in the US, 8 other nations

It’s been 213 days since Cupertino unveiled Apple Watch. The new wearable device is now available to preorder in the nine launch countries: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, United Kingdom, and the United States.

Customers can preorder their Apple Watch through the Apple Online Store for delivery beginning April 24.

You can also preview an Apple Watch at your local Apple Store beginning today, April 10. The devices will also be available to preview at Galeries Lafayette in Paris, Isetan in Tokyo, Selfridges in London, and select Apple Authorized Resellers in Japan and China.

If you want an Apple Watch on April 24, we suggest ordering it now. Apple expects the device to be in short supply initially. Prices for the wearable start at $349 and climb all the way up to $17,000.
