This is a huge week for Apple. After seven months of hype, the first Apple Watches are set to arrive for some beginning Friday, April 24.
Orders placed on April 10 received one of a number of delivery dates, depending on when an order was placed. These have included “4/24 to 5/8,” “2-4 weeks,” “June,” among others. Some (but not all) of the orders in the first group are now shipping.
First introduced in September, the Apple Watch ranges in price from $349 for the 38mm Sport model to $17,000 for the most expensive 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition.
A mid-range Apple Watch collection, with a sapphire display cover and stainless steel exterior, ranges from $549 to $1,099. Apple will also offer a number of other additional bands for the watch.
You’ll need an iPhone 5 or later to interact with the device.
