Now you can use myMail on your Apple Watch
Popular email alternative myMail has been updated to version 3.2 with some great improvements and Apple Watch support. MyMail is billed as the world’s most popular alternative to the iOS Mail app, and is available on the App Store.
MyMail already provides a host of features, such as fully customizable push notifications and email templates. Whether you use Gmail, Hotmail, Live, Outlook, MSN, iCloud, AOL, Yahoo Mail, or any IMAP or POP3-enabled mailbox, myMail will bring all of your email accounts into one interface.
The updated version adds Touch ID and PIN lock support, so you can make sure potential unauthorized users don’t have access to your email. My.com recently conducted a survey of 600 American adults’ email habits in relationships, and found that a more powerful authentication and authorization method is needed when it comes to protecting email privacy. According to the results, about one-third of respondents have accessed their partners’ email and more than 12 percent do so every chance they get.
MyMail also adds in Apple Watch support with the new update. You can view your inbox summary and most recent email details, as well as manage notifications of emails. The Apple Watch app will allow you to reply to emails, delete them, mark messages as read or spam, or just dismiss the notification. MyMail for Apple Watch allows you to dictate a message or use a text template to send to anyone in your most popular contacts list.
MyMail is available for free on the App Store, and is supported by in-app advertisements. These ads are displayed like emails, which might lead to accidentally clicking on an ad by mistake if you don’t notice the “AD” text displayed where the time usually appears.
