Celebrate ‘Star Wars Day’ with these iTunes titles and learn about the new characters in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens'
This is turning out to be a huge year for Star Wars fans.
In December, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” arrives in theaters, the first new Star Wars film in a decade. Last month, the first six films in the Star Wars saga arrived on high-definition digital download for the very first time. And, of course, there are plenty of Star Wars games available on the App Store.
To celebrate this “Star Wars Day,” we offer this special AppAdvice Need Now List.
FilmsThe brand new, HD collection of George Lucas’s six-movie “Star Wars” series, marketed as “Star Wars: The Digital Movie Collection,” is available to download on the iTunes Store. The collection features all of the current films from the series, plus a number of extras. The collection is priced at $99.99. Individually, the films are $19.99 each.

GamesThere are a lot of Star Wars games on the App Store. The best include Disney’s Star Wars: Commander and Warner Bros.’ LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. You’ll also enjoy Angry Birds Star Wars and Angry Birds Star Wars II.

TV seriesAll six seasons of Lucasfilm Animation’s “Star Wars: The Clone Wars” are available on iTunes. Each season is priced at $29.99.
