Get your news junkie fix with HuffPost Realtime
If you’re a true news junkie, you want real-time updates on breaking stories. You don’t have time to watch CNN constantly, but you still want to be kept in the know about what’s happening around the world. Huffington Post’s latest app, HuffPost Realtime, helps you stay updated about the latest topics and stories from around the globe.
HuffPost Realtime provides you with updates of the 2,000 articles published each day across Huffington Post’s 13 international editions. You can browse through all of the stories, or personalize your top stories with the topics and countries that are most important to you in a streamlined newsfeed. If you want to follow a particular story, just bookmark it in the app and you’ll get real-time updates as the story evolves.
For those of you lucky enough to have an Apple Watch, HuffPost Realtime has a companion app for your wearable device. You can browse the news, read stories, and share important topics via email, Facebook, or Twitter right from the Apple Watch version of HuffPost Realtime.
HuffPost Realtime is available for free on the App Store, and requires iOS 8.2 or later. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, but just uses the zoomed mode on the iPad. Hopefully, Huffington Post will update the app soon with a truly universal version that looks as good on the iPad as it does on the iPhone and Apple Watch.
