Never wonder where you parked your car again with TrakCar
Have you ever parked your vehicle at a large event, theme park lot, or parking garage only to discover you could not find it when it was time to leave? The helpful new TrakCar app solves this problem.
Recently released, TrakCar automatically records your parking location without you having to do a thing except lock up your car. To use the app you simply launch it and let it run in the background.
Setting up TrakCar is easy as well. First, open your phone Settings and switch on the background app refresh for both the main and TrakCar toggles. While still in your Settings, navigate to the privacy area to switch on your location services.
When it is time for you to find your car, just check TrakCar for where your vehicle is parked and you are on your way. Even though the app works to automatically track your vehicle’s location when you arrive, you can also enter a manual parking location if needed.
There are no other settings to configure or worry about with TrakCar. But, keep in mind that running GPS in the background can have an effect on your battery life. TrakCar is available for free on the App Store. There is an in-app purchase to unlock the full version which includes previous parking events.
