Practice your shooting with a natural feel in Caliber Club
Most shooting games require you to use on-screen controls to aim and fire, which is great for just plain fun but doesn’t truly replicate the feel of drawing a bead on your target and then taking the shot. In a one of a kind motion-based shooter, Caliber Club, you’ll get the classic light gun feel in an iOS game.
The game requires you to drill bull’s-eyes, plink bottles, and burst targets while climbing the ranks and earning your way into the most elite shooting club in the world, The Caliber Club. Along the way, your speed, accuracy, and tactical memory will be put to the test in a series of tournaments. Caliber Club utilizes your iPhone’s internal gyroscope for its controls, giving it the feel of classic light gun games. The game’s hand-drawn graphics are designed to be a mix between Silent Scope, Time Crisis, Police Trainer, and Namco’s classic Quick & Crash.
In each tournament, you can win prize money to use for customizing your gun in thousands of ways. The developer has built in a swappable gun part upgrade system that affects how your rifle looks, but not its shooting characteristics. The game is totally skill-based, and you can see how you rank up against your friends through Game Center leaderboards.
