Today’s apps gone free: Five-O, Note’d, Pic Sync and more
iPhone:
The app is able to handle sending hundreds of photos at once, or you can just send one at a time. When sending photos you can choose to adjust their resolution in order to save time and space. You don’t have to wait around for your upload to finish either, as the app is able to work in the background as long as you stay on the same Wi-Fi connection.
Pic Sync for WiFi is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 87 ratings.
Choose any one of the 17 fantastic notebook styles, and then add text notes, audio memos, location data, and images. Notebooks can be renamed, passcode locked, rearranged, and backed up and restored via Dropbox. The app also includes the ability to bookmark notes, view all of the notes from all of your notebooks at once, and share notes via Twitter, SMS, or email.
NOTE’d is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 159 ratings.
Universal:
The object of the game is to take turns with your opponent creating sequences of tiles that add up to multiples of five. Your score is based on all of the number tiles in each sequence you created or added to during a turn. No single sequence can be longer than five tiles, however. The game includes single and multiplayer modes, stat tracking, and a complete set of rules.
Five-O Deluxe is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 2583 ratings.
Stopwatch features a realistic timer, complete with clicking sounds. Tap the button in the lower left corner to start the timer and tap again to record a lap. You’re able to record as many laps as you’d like and view them in a scrollable list. Your list can also be shared via email.
Stopwatch Plus: Best Fitness Time Tracking Watch (Ad free) is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 61 ratings.
iPad:
Pick a side of the screen and prepare for a duel to the death. A square box below your samurai will fill up with a symbol. The first player to correctly trace the symbol will land a blow to their opponent. You must land three blows to claim victory. The game includes a total of five symbols, or weapons, to master.
Samurai Duel is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 24 ratings.

- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
