Today’s apps gone free: Gesundheit!, Carmageddon, Gin Rummy and more
iPhone:
Menacing monsters have showed up out of the blue, attacking the town’s piggy citizens. During the invasion our green little hero lets out vicious sneeze, spewing a slimy pile of mucus. Surprisingly, the wacky monsters actually enjoy the mucus. It’s this unique trait that the little green pig is able to use to his advantage to save his friends. Simply tap to guide your little pig around the screen. Tap and swipe across him to launch mucus and lure the monsters into traps. Collect the stars along the way to boost your score and earn a perfect rating. The game includes 40 levels, fantastic hand-drawn graphics and animations, and achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

You’re able to import any photo from your library or take a new one from within the app. You can then customize your photo by adjusting its contrast and color levels, applying filters and effects, and cropping or rotating it. Where Selfie Girlie really shines, however, is with its stickers. There are tons of choose from. It has everything from doodles and letters to adorable critters and phrases. Carmageddon definitely isn’t for everyone. There’s heaps of violence and foul language, but that’s what also makes it so much fun. Jump behind the wheel of your automotive killing machine and complete three different objectives to earn a perfect rating in each level. Upgrade your vehicle to achieve maximum killing efficiency and avoid getting wiped out yourself. This is our favorite version of Gin Rummy because you’re able to play turn-based games online at your own pace. The game offers three ways to play: Gin Rummy, Straight, and Oklahoma. You’re able to hone your skills against three levels of AI, and then head online to show the rest of the world your card magic. The game also includes local pass and play multiplayer, peer-to-peer multiplayer, and live online games with voice chat.
