Battle through a futuristic city in Transistor, now on iOS

Pocket Gaming
June 11, 2015

Originally launched last year for PlayStation 4 and PC, Transistor has finally made its way to iPhone and iPad. Released today, June 11, Transistor is a unique sci-fi, role-playing, adventure game. You will control the tough singer Red as she battles her way through a futuristic city with a bizarre, sword-like weapon.

You must plan carefully and strategize wisely to gain experience and obtain powers. The powers can be used alone or equipped with others for massive effects. Transistor has both real-time combat and a turn-based planning mode along with infinite Recursion for new battles after the story has ended.

Transistor uses an isometric perspective to bring depth to the experience. The game offers a rich story, vibrant graphics, and an intense soundtrack. The voiceover is in English, but the game has text and subtitles available in several other languages. You can sync your progress and save your game data via iCloud.

Transistor was released to Mac and Linux last October and was nominated for various awards for best overall game, music, sound design, and soundtrack. It took home the IGN award for Best Graphics – Art. The game is currently available for $9.99 on the App Store.
