Hungry Shark Evolution set to take a bite out of Shark Week
Fascinated by sharks? Love the Discovery Channel’s Shark Week? Enjoy playing Hungry Shark Evolution? Then you are in the luck! Today, June 25, game company Ubisoft announced a partnership with Discovery Channel to bring new content to the Hungry Shark Evolution game. In honor of both Shark Week, which begins on July 5, and Independence Day, players can check out the new Shark of Liberty event soon.
During the event, players will collect pieces of a broken Shark of Liberty in order to recreate it and win. In addition, there will be Shark Week-themed videos, an Uncle Sam hat to adorn your hungry swimmers, and fireworks to make it all the more exciting.
Here is what Jean-Michel Detoc of Ubisoft Mobile had to say:
Shark Week is a dream partnership as it allows us to share Hungry Shark Evolution with fans of Shark Week and introduce the game to Shark Week fans who share the same passion and interests in sharks.
And, from Lara Richardson, senior vice president of marketing for Discovery Channel:
Marketing partnerships like Hungry Shark Evolution allow us to reach our Shark Week fans in unique ways. These custom game placements extend our campaign in a way that’s fun and unexpected for our viewers.
Hungry Shark Evolution has you feeding reef sharks, hammerheads, great white sharks, and others to survive. Swim through the water gobbling up food, finding sunken bonus objects, and completing over 70 missions in this fast, fun feeding frenzy.
Hungry Shark Evolution is universal and available for free on the App Store. There are many in-app purchase options for coins and gems to use for accessories and other items to help you with the game.
