Square Enix Montreal announced just a few days ago, June 15, that a new strategy, adventure game will be coming later this year. Lara Croft Go will be coming to mobile devices bringing challenging puzzles and taking players to exotic locations.

From the Square Enix Montreal website this week:

We’ve been working closely with Crystal Dynamics, the studio behind the Tomb Raider franchise, to stay true to such a unique and iconic character in video games. We’re excited to tap into the lore of such an important franchise and for you to experience it.

Based on the turn-based puzzle gameplay from their other successful mobile game Hitman Go, the new Lara Croft Go will take place in an ancient civilization. You will visit old tombs, locate interesting artifacts, and encounter scary creatures, all while keeping a step ahead of the Queen of Venom.
