The sci-fi game Lifeline receives an update with checkpoints and more

The universal game with Apple Watch support, Lifeline, has received an update bringing new features as well as fixes. Players can now unlock Fast Mode after finishing a single story path, rather than on the second ending. Another update includes an “automatic fix” for those stuck at a certain problem spot later in the game. Additionally, auto-scrolling on the iPad has been corrected.

Two other new features that should excite players include Apple Watch voiceover accessibility for the buttons and the convenience of checkpoints. The checkpoints let you rewind the story instead of going all the way back to the start, which is great if you make a wrong choice.

If you are new to Lifeline, this game has you helping Taylor survive after an alien moon crash. Taylor continues to send you messages throughout the day asking for help in making decisions. There is real-time communication and dialogue between you and this new friend. Remember, you are the only one that Taylor can contact, so make your choices wise ones.
