Your TV show is never really over with PreviouslyOn
With PreviouslyOn, this week’s episode of your favorite TV show may be over, but it doesn’t really have to end. This new app gives you curated TV show recaps and news from all over the Web along with content to keep those characters and stories thriving between episodes. You can even enjoy social content from the casts and crews for the shows you love the most. For example, you might see Twitter posts from reality shows like “The Bachelorette.”
To start using the app, just select your favorite shows from categories like Drama, Comedy, Crime, or Mystery. You can also use the search feature to find a specific show. You will then see that your main dashboard contains photos of your chosen shows. Select any of them and you will see the episode list. Choose any of those to read recaps or buy the episode on iTunes.
If you click the All Caught Up button, be sure that you really are all up to date on the episodes because you will be taken to a page full of news and recaps. This is the app’s No Spoilers feature. So don’t click that button if you plan to watch that episode later.
There are many shows available with PreviouslyOn, which makes it a good TV show companion app. However, there are still many that are yet to show up. So, hopefully new shows will be added often along with updates to current episode content. PreviouslyOn is ad-supported, universal, and available for free on the App Store.
