Just take a photo of what you want to capture and allow PhotoScan to automatically detect the edges. You’re also able to manually adjust the selection if need be. You’re then able to adjust the contrast and color of your scan, rotate it, or add a border. Scans are automatically saved to the in-app library. They can also be shared as JPEGs, PDFs, or PNGs via email, or you can upload them to Facebook, Twitter, or your favorite cloud service. The app also allows you to import photos and turn them into PDFs.

Project Reno ($1.99 → Free, 14.7 MB): Plan, monitor, and track your projects with this business app. It’s ideal for architects, contractors, and even home owners that are constantly juggling projects.

Project Reno provides you with complete control over all aspects of your projects. You’re able to attach contacts to your projects, provide details, outlines costs, update statuses, and define start and due dates. Photos and geo-location information can be attached as well to provide more context. The projects in your main box can be filtered out by status, number, name, or contact to keep things tidy and help you stay focused.

Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project ($1.99 → Free, 194.7 MB): Return order to the Big Apple by kicking mutants where it hurts in Duke Nukem: Manhattan Project. It’s for fans of the original hit game or those who simply enjoy a good platformer.

Get ready for total mutant mayhem. Duke is back and badder than ever! Go running across rooftops, through alleyways, and down the streets of New York using on-screen directional buttons. Whenever you encounter a mutant, which will be often, whip out one of your nine massive weapons and blast them to bits, or you can utilize close quarter combat to test your mettle. The game includes the same over the top humor from the original franchise, eight huge levels, and 25 enemies to take down.

Sleepy Fan – Get Restful Sleep with fan and white noise sounds ($1.99 → Free, 12.8 MB): Block out the world with this relaxation app from the creators of Sunny, Windy, and Thunderspace. It’s for anyone who has trouble falling asleep or focusing on a task.

Like Taptanium’s other apps, Sleepy Fan is all about the high quality audio. It’s encoded in 256 kbps AAC, making it truly sound like a fan is spinning in the background. You’re able to choose from an oscillating, ceiling, or desk fan, and you can mix in and tweak white, pink, and brown noise. Just sit back, get comfortable, and then tap on the fan to get the blades spinning!

deGeo Camera – Photos Without Geotags ($0.99 → Free, 2.8 MB): Take photos without location data with deGeo. It’s for those who are concerned about their privacy.

Every photo you take includes GPS location data. This hidden data provides anyone with your exact coordinates. With deGeo, you’ll never have to worry about this little secret because photos taken with it don’t include any sensitive data. You can, however, choose to include basic metadata like the date and time. The app also allows you to add a grid overlay to the live camera feed, and change camera features with a swipe.
