You’re able to import any photo from your library or camera roll. Then choose one of the 15 elegant frame shapes. The colors of your photo will be embedded into the dynamically generated blurred background. You can also reposition your photo to ensure your subject is highlighted. When everything is to your liking, export and share your unique creation via Instagram or email.

The app allows you to zoom in closely and pan around your photo, and you can adjust the size, softness, and opacity of your brush to paint with more detail. Your finished creations can be saved or shared via your favorite social networks.

WatchNotes is simple and effective. The app is broken down into separate sections for notes and tasks. You can add to either section from within the app itself, but what really makes it special is its Apple Watch and iOS 8 integration. WatchNotes’ Apple Watch app not only allows you to view all notes and tasks, but also create your own using dictation. If you’re running iOS 8, you’re able to create new notes and tasks via a Today widget as well. All content can be shared via email or Messages.

Shape Tracer includes 11 different shapes to learn the names of and trace. Each shape is traced and pronounced when selected. Your child must then drag the slider around the shape to trace it themselves. When complete, the shape will animate and the process will restart. You can jump to other included shapes via the toolbar at the bottom.

It allows you to import PDF documents from a variety of sources including Google Drive, Dropbox, and your computer via iTunes File Sharing. You can then fill out forms, add comments, highlight important items, apply stamps, and add your signature to any PDF document. You’re also able to split documents, reorder pages, duplicate and rename, and zip them. PDF documents can be shared via email, Dropbox, and Google Drive, or they can be printed via AirPrint.

Tiny Airport features three separate scenes that are intended to flesh out the story. Each scene is loaded with around 30 hidden adventures and chances to uncover surprises. Your child will be sorting luggage, assisting passengers, checking engines, and even flying planes. Tap on the circle near the bottom of the screen to view all of the possible interactions in the selected scene.

If you are a developer who would like to get your app included in our “Apps Gone Free” daily lists, here’s our basic set of rules:
- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
- The free version of your app must not include ads.
