You can finally go back in Sorcery! and Sorcery! 2
You have been a longtime fan of Sorcery! and Sorcery! 2 from game company Inkle. But, too many times in these games you made wrong choices. You made a series of bad moves and wished you could undo them all. Sorcery! 3 provided the option for you to go back and you wished that the first two games in the series had this option too. Well, today is your lucky day.
What changed? In updates today, July 8, both Sorcery! and Sorcery! 2 have received a nice, new feature. Players can now rewind their stories just like in Sorcery! 3. Just click the Rewind button in the game and go back to the spot where you made that bad choice.
What are these games, anyway? These games are basically interactive stories where you as the player make choices as you follow the entertaining story. You plan your paths around the city maps, cast your magical spells, battle fierce monsters, and basically create your own story as you go. The choices you make allow the game to change on the fly.
Engaging and appealingThe game series is impressive, not only with the way the stories can unravel, but with the methods of interaction which make them hard to put down. As a newbie to the series, the rewind feature will certainly come in handy soon enough for me.
Sorcery!, Sorcery! 2, and Sorcery! 3 are all universal games available on the App Store for $4.99 each.
