Deals & Shopping
August 5, 2015

It’s Saturday morning, your shopping list for Target is ready, and you are set to venture out on the busiest shopping day of the week. The problem is, you have limited time because you have hundreds of other things to do. So, what is the quickest way to get through the store and pile everything needed into your cart? Luckily the Target app has received an update that answers that question and you will love the answer.

Target ProductEasy in, easy out

An update to the Target app today, August 5, brings two different ways for you to breeze through the store. One way is with the map mode for your shopping list. As you add items to your list, you will see the area and aisle in the store containing those products. Just click on one of them and your entire shopping list is displayed on a map of your store. How handy is that? Now you can fly through the aisles in a more organized way, making your trip faster and easier.

Target MapAnother update to the app’s shopping list feature might attract those who like their lists neatly organized. You can now have your list sorted for you to provide the best path as you shop. So, if you choose not to use the map mode, you will still see those aisle numbers presented in the order for which you should pop them into your cart. This is another great way to get in and out of the store quickly.

Target has also updated the account section of the app. So, if you have questions, just check out the new Help section. In addition, some users will have a Target Run option available which provides terrific in-store features and money-saving deals using beacon technology. Push notifications will be sent to those users for hot deals within their vicinity. However, the feature is currently only available in limited markets. Chicago, Illinois, Denver, Colorado, and Seattle, Washington are among the lucky cities, according to TechCrunch earlier today. The rest will have to wait until later this year.
