You’re presented with a color before each round begins. You must try to tap on the tiles while they are that color to remove them from the board. They won’t stay in their same positions for long, so you must be quick about it. Remove all tiles before time expires to move on to the next round. You’re able to choose from three different modes, including a same-device multiplayer mode. The game also includes achievements and leaderboards via Game Center.

Hop into an advanced spaceship and take the fight to the alien invaders. You’re able to control your ship’s movements by tilting your iDevice or via touch. Your weapons are set on auto-fire, so all you have to do is take aim and dodge enemy attacks. Power-ups will glide by, providing much needed additional firepower for a short period of time. Collect the crystals that drop from your fallen enemies to increase your multiplier and obtain new ship upgrades.

Sapphire Cell plays like a game of hide and seek. You’re trapped within a maze of hexagonal cells. The only way out is to collect every last key without being noticed by the red hexagons. To move, simply drag your finger across the screen and the world will slide around you. Utilize the darkness and shader cells to hide from your captors. If you’re spotted, run! The game includes 11 large maze-like levels, and dynamic placement of keys.

Scanning is a breeze with SharpScan Pro. You’re able to scan a single page or multiple pages rapidly. The app’s powerful camera engine ensures every pixel counts, getting rid of noise, shadows, distortions, and other artifacts. It’s also able to automatically detect the edges of your documents, but you can manually adjust them if need be. After scanning your documents you’re able to recognize the text in over 50 languages. Documents can be stored in the app, on your iDevice, or in the cloud.
SharpScan Pro + OCR: rapidly scan multipage documents into clean PDF on the go is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4-star rating with a total of 194 ratings.
SomaFM doesn’t require any registration or additional purchases. Just launch the app, pick a station, and enjoy! Stations can be filtered by popularity or genre, and they can be marked as favorites for quick access. SomaFM offers high and low bandwidth streaming to help avoid data overages. It also includes background streaming support, the ability to share what you’re listening to, and Apple TV and AirPlay support.
SomaFM Radio Player is available for free for a limited time. It has a 4.5-star rating with a total of 246 ratings.

- It must have at least a three-star average rating at the time it goes free.
- The app must not have been free numerous times (3+) over the last six months.
