Expect a Product Red Apple Watch Sport band at the media event
There are plenty of rumors flying around regarding what will be announced at the Apple media event today, Sept. 9. One such rumor that has appeared to receive confirmation is that of a Product Red Apple Watch Sport band. As seen here in a tweet from technology blogger Larry Greenberg, the new bright band is packaged and ready to go.
According to MacRumors:
At least one Apple Store has received inventory of the new bright red band ahead of Apple’s “Hey Siri” media event in San Francisco today.
The red sport band will make a nice addition to the current white, blue, green, pink, and black options available for the Apple Watch. Other reports indicate we could be seeing more colors added to the rainbow of options such as orange, beige, yellow, and even another shade of blue.
In addition to the new sport band colors we are expecting to see today, we also have a feeling more Apple Watch finishes could arrive. As we mentioned last week, an interesting report from The New York Times said that Apple could introduce a less expensive gold version of the wearable device at the event.
