Long lines await the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus
It’s Sept. 25, the official launch day for the iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus. The devices first arrived in New Zealand and Australia, as 8 a.m. local time arrived and Apple Stores opened in those countries. As of the time of this writing, the devices have launched in all of the first wave of countries, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, New Zealand, Puerto Rico, and Singapore.
If you didn’t preorder your new handset, you may be waiting in one of the long lines in front of Apple Stores. Retail locations in cities like New York City, Boston, Cleveland, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and Washington D.C. opened their doors and began letting the stalwart, hopeful customers in for walk-in purchases and to fulfil in-store reservations.

The excitement isn’t limited to the U.S., of course. You can see people lined up at Toronto’s Eaton Centre Apple Store, waiting for the doors to open.

If you preordered your iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, UPS and FedEx will be making those deliveries to residential addresses between the hours of 9 a.m. and 8 p.m. in most cases.
