Scan products to compare using the new Amazon app widget
Making shopping easier, Amazon has updated their popular app today, Sept. 16. Users can now enjoy voice dictation for reordering, a handy Today widget, and improvements for iOS 9.
What’s new with the Amazon app
In addition to reordering items by speaking, you can track your recent orders this way now too. The voice dictation feature also works well for product searching. All of this convenience just gives you a more hands-free shopping experience. There is also a new Today widget that lets you view your order status, use the barcode scanner for searching, and tap to use the voice dictation feature.
Decent update
This update to the Amazon app may not be as big as the one bringing the popular app to Apple Watch for one-click ordering in April. But, it has its advantages. The Today widget is a nice addition providing quicker access to those Amazon app features you use the most. So, when you are at a local store and decide you need to do some price comparing, you can just tap within the widget to scan, search, and compare easily.
The Amazon app is universal with Apple Watch support and available for free on the App Store.
