Although it has only been available for a couple of months, the endless, action, runner Samurai Blitz will receive its first major update this week. With the new version scheduled for Oct. 1, players will receive great additional content, cool pets, powerful equipment, and more.

Samurai Blitz What’s on the way

Players can head over to the Katana Shop for more equipment options, join up with new pets like the fierce wolf, and slice their way through a fresh set of achievements. Although there are not a lot of details on everything expected in the upcoming version of this action-packed game, a new preview has been released. Check out what’s to come with Samurai Blitz 2.0 and just click here if you cannot view the video:

For those new to the game

If you haven’t played Samurai Blitz yet, here are the basics. This endless running adventure has you slashing nasty enemies, collecting valuable coins, and dashing your way through six attractive environments. You can customize your player with over 700 combinations of tunics, katanas, and magic powders. Take on the big bosses and then challenge your friends with Game Center support.

Samurai Blitz Fun slash and run adventure

Samurai Blitz has retro-style graphics, sound effects, and background music. The controls are simple and the game has an overall fast-paced feel, but of course, you are running. The update looks terrific and I am excited to see all of the new items.

Samurai Blitz is universal and available for free on the App Store. There are in-app purchase options for coin packs.
