Flipping through your recent photos can be fun, but hard to do with friends and family when those pictures are all on your phone. What if you could turn the pages of a magazine filled with those photos instead? Guests can pick up your book from the coffee table and browse through your terrific photos. Other family members can sit and enjoy looking at them together. Recently is an app that can give you this every single month.
How Recently works
Each month you will receive a reminder from Recently to go in and view your pictures. Your most recent 100 photos, or 50 if you prefer, will be preselected and waiting for you. Then just tap the Upload button and you will get a physical, art-style magazine with all of your awesome pictures mailed directly to you.
Before you click the Upload button you have the opportunity to make a few adjustments. You can rearrange your photos or delete those that you do not want included. You have until the last day of the month to make your changes and hit the button.

The magazine you receive will be 7 by 10 inches in size and printed on premium heavy stock paper. So, it is much better quality than the typical magazine you would pick up at the supermarket. The cost for the monthly magazine membership is $8.99 which will be billed to your account unless you cancel. You can also receive $1 off your next month for each friend you invite to try Recently.
Overall thoughts
Recently is a nice idea for those who take plenty of pictures each month that they would like to share and review this way. It would be great if you could go back and select different photos to compile, rather than just the most recent ones, for a special occasion book or even a gift.
