Watch out for lasers and fireballs, be the Dodge Hero

Move, jump, and get the heck out of the way while you are under attack in the new game Dodge Hero. Creepy characters with bullets, lasers, fireballs, and nothing but destruction on their minds are out to get you. Use your skills, stay calm, and get ready to move those fingers.

The game controls are simple. Just hold down on the left or right of the screen to move and tap anywhere else to jump. Your goal is to get through the level while enemies are shooting at you, staring down with lasers, dropping fireballs, and rolling other dangerous objects in your path. As you play, you will come across red flames that you do want to catch. These can be used to obtain masks which have various jump heights or more characters that have different speeds. You can also earn masks as you successfully dodge your way through the levels. When you see blue flames be sure to catch those too because they activate a handy shield you can use for a short time.

Dodge Hero starts simple, but gets harder fast. The first 10 levels are only the beginning and contain checkpoints, which do not last through the more difficult levels. The graphics and sound effects are modest and the game brings a fun challenge. The more scary characters that get added, the more things heat up.

Dodge Hero is designed for iPhone and available for free on the App Store. There are in-app purchases to purchase more red flames or remove the ads.
