You want to get what you need or see what you want without taking extra time to get back on the road. This is when Along the Way can come in handy as your driving companion. The app shows you spots on your current path, saving you time and aggravation.
Along the Way features
Just enter your destination and when you are ready to stop, choose the type of location you need. The app provides spots for dining, drinks, and coffee along with parks, sights, and places offering specials in the area. You can also conveniently view your results in either map or list view.
Location details
Each location is full of photos and details with tips and reviews from Foursquare, one-click to call, and directions using your preferred map app. You can see which credit cards are accepted, if Wi-Fi is available, and even if they offer outdoor seating.
Easy to use
Along the Way provides a clean interface which is important for an app that you take on your travels. The map view has a useful zoom feature, the complete location details are helpful, and some dining spots even offer up their menu. There is also a nice keyword search if you are looking for something in particular.
