EA’s Real Racing 3 puts you in the winning McLaren F1 GTR
The high-powered Real Racing 3 from Electronic Arts received a terrific update yesterday, Oct. 19, bringing more fast and furious racers and cool events to the game. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the McLaren victory at Le Mans, players now have a chance to race the winning McLaren F1 GTR.
New rides
The first big update is that there are now five hot additional cars:
- McLaren 650S GT3
- McLaren P1 GTR
- 1995 McLaren F1 GTR
- 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 427
- 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Coupe Z51 3LT (C7)
New events
Next, try your hand at winning the awesome McLaren P1 GTR in the Born for Victory event where you will celebrate McLaren’s victory at the 1995 Le Mans endurance race. You can also join the Stingray Evolution event which begins on Nov. 15 and win yourself the slick Corvette Stingray Z51.

Real Racing 3 certainly feels “real racing” and with the addition of the five new cars and two exciting events, players have even more motivation to fly through that finish line. So, grab your helmet, strap in, and slam the pedal to the floor.
Real Racing 3 is universal with Apple Watch support. The game is available for free on the App Store with several in-app purchase options for cards, gold, and packs.
