Are you uncomfortable providing your number when filling out forms? Or, maybe you need to make business calls from your personal number? There are many times when we have to give out our phone number and just feel uneasy doing so. A new app called DialMask allows you to keep your number private by setting one up with them.

DialMask features

  • Set up one or more private numbers with voicemail
  • Make and receive phone calls worldwide
  • Texting available for the U.S., Canada, Germany, and more
  • All call and text logs are housed within the app

DialMaskCosts and rates

DialMask is a free app for iPhone, however, rates do apply for numbers, calls, and text messages. It starts at $2 per private number, calls start at 4.5 cents per minute, and text messaging starts at 2.5 cents per text. There is no contract; this is a prepaid service where you fund your account. You can give it a try for free and receive a $2.50 credit for your first U.S. or Canada number along with 10 minutes of call time.

DialMaskOverall thoughts

DialMask offers a noble concept. Most people are worried about privacy now more than ever, with good reason. Depending on how much you would use the service, it could become a little costly. But, many could argue that you can’t put a price tag on privacy.

DialMask is designed for iPhone and available for free on the App Store.
