It has three built-in throwing distances to choose from based on the type of game you’re attending, or you can measure and enter your own distance. Then press the screen when the ball is thrown and release your finger the moment it is caught. The app will calculate the amount of time the ball is in the air to determine the speed of the pitch.

Salt & Pepper: A Physics Game ($1.99 → Free, 15.2 MB): Get the salt and pepper into their respective bowls in this physics puzzler. It’s for fans of games like Pangea’s Enigma.

It starts with just two words: Salt and Pepper. The grains and flakes will fall from their words, and all you need to do is draw lines on the screen to slide and bounce them into their respective bowls. Keep in mind that you can’t erase lines and your ink is limited. Make a mistake and you’ll have to start all over. The game includes 320 levels across two modes.
