Wouldn’t it be awesome to watch videos, check out photos, and study together while chatting with faraway friends the entire time? Rabbit for iPhone lets you do this in your own private room. Invite your friends and send messages to each other while you watch your favorite NBC show or funny YouTube videos.

Getting started

Once you sign up for a Rabbit account on the website, you can log into the app and go directly to your private room. Easily share the link to your room with friends and then get the mobile party started. Rabbit provides a few suggested sites you can begin broadcasting from like BuzzFeed, Funny Or Die, NBC.com, or YouTube, but you can also enter your own URL.

Using the app

Once you start the broadcast you can turn your phone to landscape view and put it into full screen mode. To chat with your buddies who are watching with you, just click the Chat button or turn your phone back to portrait view. The controls are simple and nicely displayed.

Cool way to hang out

Rabbit provides a pretty nifty way to connect with friends or family across the miles. Just being able to watch a movie with a pal across the country and chat while you are doing it can make you feel like you’re in the same room. So, Rabbit does have a great concept and easy enough interface that hangouts are a breeze.

Rabbit for iPhone is available on the App Store for free with no in-app purchases, so give it a try.
