If you have been wondering when the popular video app YouTube would receive an updated design like we have, then you’re in luck. The app was updated yesterday, Oct. 5, and the changes will be rolling out to users. A fresh look and new tools will be great for app users.

Redesigned interface

YouTube has received a makeover with vibrant red and gesture control. Now users will notice their recommended videos, favorites, and subscriptions can be accessed easier. Just tap the appropriate icon or swipe the screen to navigate through the sections.

Another update to the app includes new video editing tools. This is sure to make the app more of an all-encompassing tool for adjusting and sharing videos. As long as the tools are super easy to use, this is a terrific enhancement and hopefully over time more cool editing options will be added.

YouTubeNice improvements

A fresh look is always a welcome enhancement and gesture controls making it easier to access channels just makes using the app more pleasurable. I think the big hit, however, will be the addition of the video editing tools. I am not one of the lucky ones who has received the update yet, but if you are, please feel free to share your thoughts on it in the comments below.

Again, the update will be rolling out to users slowly, so if you do not see the changes yet, just know that they are on the way. YouTube is universal and available for free on the App Store.

In other news, Sling TV now offers more live college football games with Campus Insiders and Never forget to download that important app with Lookmark.
