When you wake up alone in an icy cell in the Antarctic, you wonder how you got there and how long you have been locked in. You see a letter and bottle of pills. What does it all mean? You must find a way out of the cell, but will then begin a journey through Facility 47. Solve puzzles, find useful items, and discover the history of this mysterious location.
This is one of those games that has you finding clues and objects on your own. You will unlock different areas of the facility, tap various scenes to explore them closer, and collect items to assist you on your journey. Useful objects you find will be kept in your inventory on the bottom of the screen until you are ready to use them.
You begin the game with three hints and can obtain more with an in-app purchase for $0.99. So, although you will be tempted to use your hints, use them wisely. Explore every area you are in by tapping and leave no stone, or should I say icicle, unturned.
If you enjoy puzzle games that engage you in a story and bring the challenge of figuring everything out on your own, then you will like Facility 47. There is a lot to explore and you must use some common sense as well as creative thinking. The graphics and animations are solid and the game is enjoyable for those who like this genre.
Facility 47 is designed for iPhone and iPad and costs $3.99 on the App Store. There is also Facility 47 Free version available with an in-app purchase to unlock the full game. Additionally, both versions have in-app purchases for more game hints.
