Coming pretty quickly from Nitrome, the creators of Gunbrick and Platform Panic, is a new platformer called Go Pogo. In a post on Twitter from Nov. 21, the company states its launch will be coming “next week,” so technically that means we should be seeing it hit the App Store in the next few days.

Game overview

With pixel-style art and level-based gameplay, you will be bouncing on your pogo stick to eliminate enemies in your path. According to GameMob, Go Pogo will be available for free and the Nitrome blog mentions an endless mode, implying there will be a few different game modes available. Here is a nice animated GIF showing the game, courtesy of the Nitrome blog.

Go PogoLooking good

For a slight twist on platform games, Go Pogo looks like it will bring a fun experience. Hopping around on a pogo stick, defeating enemies, and making your way through the levels might be just the adventure you are seeking.

Be sure to check back with AppAdvice for updates on the release of Go Pogo from Nitrome. For new games you can play right now, take a look at Enter the beautiful, relaxing puzzle world of Ozaiko or Swing, fling, and throw yourself to victory in King Tongue.
